"Since 2018, Zeltico has embodied the spirit of the historic Tegani Distillery, merging long-standing tradition with a bold drive for innovation and the alchemy of new flavors. The Tegani brand traces its roots back to the early 19th century, succeeding the Bart family—Swiss distillers who relocated to Finale Emilia (Modena) following the Swiss prohibition era of the late 1700s. The business remained family-run until the late 20th century, when it established its current home in the Cento (Ferrara) district. Today, Paolo Melloni and Riccardo Oppi lead the company with deep respect for ancient recipes, while casting an innovative eye toward everything the world of spirits and aromatized wines has to offer."
