Tenuta Casali

Tenuta Casali, on the hills of Mercato Saraceno, in the Savio Valley, expresses the passion of Romagna people, seriousness and intensity that clearly identifies the style of their wines. The forerunner, grandfather Mario in 1978, pass to Valerio and Paolo the company and birth Tenuta Casali, now assisted by the young forces of Silvia, Francesco and Daniele. The union of tradition and innovation preserve their roots by taking new paths, remaining firmly rooted in the spirit of the territory. The vineyards lay on ancient river terraces and strong temperature changes between night and day give olfactory intensity and character to the taste. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with autochthonous yeasts to express the most truthful aromas and flavors following a sustainable agriculture project. To qualify the character of the wine the barrel for the refinement are not roasting. Per qualificare al massimo il carattere del vino hanno curato anche l’intervento dell’affinamento in botte evitandone la tostatura proprio per non interferire con la tipicità della materia prima.
