TerraQuilia is located in Guiglia in the Regional Park of the Sassi di Rocca Malatina, about 500 m above sea level. The Roman name was Terra-Aquilia. Here the high altitude cultivation follows the rhythms of nature and the moon.
Romano Mattioli, his sons and their collaborators create the wine as Romano father made, but without any defects. An authentic Ancestral Method: the indigenous yeasts ferment healthy and hand-harvested grapes, then the cold stops the fermentation. Whit the Spring the second fermentation start again.
No added sugar and only native yeasts to enhance the terroir as much as possible and without filtration. TerraQuilia respects an ORGANIC and VEGAN regime without adding substances permitted for enological use, declaring the low sulphite residue on the label.
