We are in Bondeno (Ferrara), in Finale Emilia and Mirandola Valleys, precisely south of Gavello di Bondeno where, between 1870 and 1880, during the great reform of hydraulic reclamation, on the "La Barchessa" estate, Bertelli Carlo, nicknamed "Carlon", began the first agricultural cultivation techniques.
In 2016, his great-grandson Carlo, planted the vineyard, organically grown, with vines of "Lambrusco di Sorbara and Lambrusco Salamino", realizing his innate passion for wine production. In autumn 2019, with the first harvest, entirely by hand, the following wines were born: "GALSANA", rosé sparkling wine of Lambrusco di Sorbara, and "CarlONE", Lambrusco di Sorbara e Salamino, natural, bottle-fermented and produced with the same techniques handed down by the previous generations, without sulphites and/or sugars, yeasts, added.
