The fragrance of this wine is rich in olfactory and gustatory nuances.

Passo Morgone, Consandolo beetwen Ferrara and Bologna, was an ancient transit passage on the river Reno.
The name derives from the brackish water valleys present, the neighboring country is called "Marmorta"!.

Famous, rediscovered vine in Romagna, but its aromaticity is also found in Passo Morgone.

Vine: 100% Famoso

Alcohol content: 13% vol.

Vinification: The harvest is strictly manual and normally takes place during the first ten days of September. The grapes are softly pressed and the must fermented at a low temperature to obtain more elegant aromas. The battonage operation is carried out for about 6 months,  the suspension of fine lees to obtain a wine richer in olfactory and gustatory nuances. A further refinement in bottle of 3 months is carried out before the product putted on the market.

Tasting notes: Intense and weel structured wine. Warm and soft. The cash gives charm and hints of ripe and exotic fruit.

Food matches: The aromaticity of Famoso vine is perfect with particularly intense olfactory dishes such as the Catalan shellfish and truffle-based first courses.
