Rosa Delle Sabbie - Rosè Sparkling wine - Tenuta Garusola
In 1528 Renata of France, Duchess of Ferrara, brought some grape of Fortana or Gold vine, Uva d'oro in Ferrara from France.
The name results from "fruttana" by the prosperity of the vine and the richness of the grapes.

The important characteristic of these vines is that the sandy soil stopped the phylloxera and these vines are not grafted.

Alcohol content: 11% Vol.

Vinification: Strictly selected and harvested manually, charmat method along six months after a soft pressing of the grapes with immediate separation from the must and use of selected yeasts

Food matches: Excellent as an aperitif or to accompany typical Ferrarese sea food and tasty earth dishes. Shrimp crudite and citrus sauce.
