Wines of the Sabbie Winery

Giorgio Mariotti has been one of the promoters of the DOC Bosco Eliceo in 1989 as he was well aware of the typicality of the wines produced on the sandy soils and of the ungrafted vineyards. Since 2009 Mirco and his sister Barbara manage the family activity. In addition to the important typicality of the ungrafted vineyards, the company presents their location which is the "Fondo Luogaccio", in the site ‘Natura 2000’ called "Duna di San Giuseppe". This area is recognized by the Emilia Romagna Region as a historical vineyard called "Duna della Puia", an ancient toponym of this area.
