Orlando Fortana Emilia Vino Frizzante Fortana, the typical vine of Ferrara land. In 1528 Renata of France, Duchess of Ferrara, brought some grape of Fortana or Gold vine, Uva d'oro in Ferrara from France. The name results from "fruttana" by the prosperity of the vine and the richness of the grapes.
